Episode 43, 47, 49: Short Shows about Clarity & Confidence

Synopsis

From my experience working with hundreds of clients to support their personal pursuit of clarity, most of us think of clarity as something to attain. But seeing it that way can be a little bit like trying to eat an elephant in one bite.

What comes BEFORE clarity?

Today's episode is a short journey - you could say a jaunt: a businessman's trip... About how often we look outside for answers when the answers are within, about how the gaps within ourselves are the reasons for that, and how the solution lies in subtraction, not addition.

Show Notes

I want to talk today about clarity.

Often we look outside for answers when the answers are within,

This gap, the gaps within ourselves – are the reason we look outside of ourselves for answers.

This is because Clarity isn’t work of addition, it’s work of subtraction.

Where there's lack of argument, where there is no more disagreement, there is stillness.

The more in-tune you are with yourself, the less separation you find within yourself, all that's left to feel is peace... 🔥🖤

Proximity is power – and what that statement means to me, is proximity to ourselves, connection to ourselves.

When there's no light of day between you and your true nature because you KNOW yourself, nothing will be able to break your resolve. Nothing will be able to restrain you from the good you can do. Issues of motivation, comparison, disappointment, discouragement fall away.

How can this simple awareness be actually applied for good? What do we DO differently because of recognizing this truth?

The answer to that question holds all the potential for change imaginable.

Self knowing comes before self belief. Self knowing comes before self trust. Self knowing is the key to clarity. It’s the whittling away of everything except for true nature that reveals clarity.

How much time do you devote to getting to know yourself? And how do you choose to do it?

Spending time with ourselves is invaluable. Let it be easy!

Synopsis

There's a reason that Clarity is one of the pillars of my framework, and discernment is a part of the process, a necessary skill to develop along the way...

Discernment means you don't end up second guessing later, or realizing that you made a mistake months or years later. A classic example could be with forming new partnerships (personal or professional).

Tune in to this episode for specifics about how to achieve self trust through the combination of bulletproof discernment and crystal clarity.

Show notes

What happens after we gain Clarity? Does Self Trust simply result?

There's a reason that Clarity is one of the pillars of my framework, and discernment is a part of the process, a necessary skill to develop along the way.

Clarity + Discernment = Self-Trust.

Clarity without Discernment perpetuates Self Doubt.

What is Discernment after all? It's applying judgment rightly.

'Rightly' being the operating word :)

While some people stumble into a discernment process that works for them, those people are the exception not the rule. Don't take my word for it - look around you and tell me what you see.

What are some indications that your discernment process is Grade A?

⚖️ It's fast. Discernment when done properly is NOT something that takes a lot of time.

⚖️ It's reliable. You can reach for it and apply it in a methodical, repeatable way - not something you reinvent every time.

⚖️ It's high quality. Discernment means you don't end up second guessing later, or realizing that you made a mistake months or years later. A classic example could be with forming new partnerships (personal or professional).

Can you see how with Discernment on point like this, it would be very hard NOT to trust yourself?

Clarity is great. We may be able to see the full picture without projections or distortion. But unless we have a process for decision making that never results in indecision, doubt, or regret, Self Trust will still evade us.

This is why in my practice I teach people a process for making decisions they can live with FOREVER - in a quick, repeatable way.

Because Discernment is an actual skill you can learn, in a tangible and measurable, completable way.

Synopsis

Most approaches to issues of Confidence fail for 1 of 2 reasons.
Gaining awareness about when and how these variables are at play will allow you to make progress to every goal more quickly and easily.

In today's episode we uncover what those are and how to remedy them. This is where gaining control over your own consciousness allows you to create change directly at the source, where it's needed: in the unconscious.

Perhaps the biggest reason you haven't resolved the issue yet is simply for not using the right tool. Even the ability to consider this is an important step forward.

Show notes

Context: Automatic experiences such as reactions and protective mechanisms, and feelings are controlled by our unconscious.

Most approaches to issues of Confidence fail for 1 of 2 reasons:

1. They rely on willpower to work (conscious approach).
2. They rely on someone else to problem-solve your unconscious.

Gaining awareness about when and how these variables are at play will allow you to make progress to every goal more quickly and easily.

Perhaps the biggest reason you haven't resolved the issue yet is simply for not using the right tool. Even the ability to consider this is an important step forward.

Releasing the programming that led you to believe you weren't safe in social contexts allows you to access authentic Confidence naturally.

I like to say I help people instill true beliefs .

You are just right as you are: unless the fear is true, Confidence is an issue of perception, not reality.

Negative programming releases with new experiences, not through conscious convincing or will power.

This is where gaining control over your own consciousness allows you to create change directly at the source, where it's needed: in the unconscious.
